Thank you for contributing reviews to Springfield.Net. It is important that you read and understand these Review Guidelines as they address our standards for submission of reviews. All community standards evolve over time, so it's important that you periodically check these Review Guidelines (as well as our Privacy Policy) for updates, new information, or additional information.

What to write about:

Please restrict your comments to the restaurant, event or other item being reviewed. The best reviews back up their opinions with details. Please tell us why you like or dislike an item -- support your opinion with examples. Unsupported comments or opinions may be removed. Feel free to mention similar items and compare them with the item being reviewed.

Appropriate/Inappropriate Content

User reviews should not exceed 150 words.

Recommended reviews range from 50 to 150 words.

Reviews will be sorted by date posted, so your review is likely to shift position accordingly.

The community of Springfield.Net users relies on your reviews to be candid, courteous and fair. Keep in mind that you are reviewing the particular event, location or group -- not other reviews. Please refrain from overly harsh or snide comments or gratuitous criticism of other reviews. Reviews will appear on the site the day after they are posted.

Generally, we do not screen any of the information ("content") you upload as your review, but it is expected to reflect our community standards. We may remove your content if, in our sole discretion, it does not meet our standards. When we do, you may receive a warning about the violation of Springfield.Net's standards. We may remove or alter your content or its position on a page.

Inappropriate content/behavior includes:

Inappropriate language, for example, harmful or abusive language, expletives or profanities, obscenities, hate speech, or harassing, offensive, vulgar, sexually explicit language,

Single-word comments,

Personally-identifying information such as actual names, phone numbers, mailing addresses, email addresses, URL,

Commercial messages or advertising material,

Posting materials other than text such as photos, sound, or other images,

Any illegal material,

Posting copyrighted content without permission of the owner,

Comments that advertise other Web sites, other message boards or other companies and

Comments that in any way refer to person(s) under 18 years of age.

Please bear in mind that this is a non-exhaustive list and are only guidelines. Use your best judgment. We do not monitor all the content. If you see objectionable content, please report it to contactus@Springfield.Net.

You agree not to provide any content to Springfield.Net that (a) infringes any third-party intellectual property or publicity/privacy rights, (b) violates any applicable law or regulation, (c) is defamatory, obscene or pornographic, (d) contains any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information, or (e) is otherwise tortious or criminal.

Springfield.Net shall own all content submitted as part of a review and may use such content without your consent.
