It does feel like an intermediary movie, but it is, so I don't think that's a huge negative. The visual appeal of the movie is astounding with great direction by Yates. They also simplified the ending beyond reason. Yates had better get 'The Deatly Hallows' right... It's what I expected Posted by Evee on Jul-24-2009 A lot of people who haven't read the book think this movie is without plot and that it's mediocre. It's not your usual "little Potter and his friends tackle a little mystery and live happily ever after for another year story." It's more mature in content and the plot is a beginning to the over arcing story line that we will follow in the last two movies. If you have read the book then you will appreciate the movie because they fit all the key points into it. Just sit back and enjoy being at Hogwarts again!
