The food at CL is as authentic as you could hope for, and the family-owned and operated quality (down to the paintings on the wall done by the son) make dining here a truly fun and tasty Mexican experience! If you are looking for great drink prices (and drinks :) and great atmostphere , go here!!

Great Casual Experience!

In a city flooded with "Authentic Style" Mexican restaurants, Cielito Lindo ranks among the highest in combining taste, authenticity, and value. The salsa is fresh (with plenty of cilantro!) and chips are warm. The menu is expansive and contains Special Dinners, a la carte, and 30 different Combination Dinners for $6.25 or under. The service is usually quick and I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my entree after ordering. The food is terrific. They use and authentic cheeses and spices and fresh guacomole (which my girlfriend says is the best!) While the open, cafe style seating is by no means fancy and cheesy Anheuser-Busch propaganda detracts somewhat from the atmosphere, it is still a nice environment to enjoy a meal. As for value, two people can easily dine for under $20.00, including a couple bottles of Corona or Dos XX. Overall, I rate Cielito Lindo Exceptional!

As a mexican, the food was alright, but certainly not the best. If you do go here to eat I suggest the tacos and there arroz (rice). The service could also be improved.
